Magic City Glock Challenge - Glock Sport Shooting Foundation Match (GSSF)

Magic City Action Shooters will be hosting the second Magic City Glock Challenge.  This is a Glock Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF) Match.  The match is scheduled for August 12-13, 2017 at the Billings Rod and Gun Club.

In case you missed the Magic City Glock Challenge last year you should know it runs similar to Steel Challenge matches you may have shot in the past. However, the GSSF matches have big bonuses. Those bonuses include prizes like Glock pistols, Glock merchandise, cash, and random drawings for other items.  Last year, 10 participants won Glock pistol certificates!  Glock certificates are awardedrandomly, to winners of divisions, and to new GSSF Members.  If that isn’t enough ways to win a Glock, keep reading on how to serve as a Range Officer, for even more chances to win!  See below for some commonly asked questions.

  • Have several Glocks and can’t decide which one to bring?  Great, bring them all and compete up to SIX divisions for more chances to win!
  • Register anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on August 12th, or 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on August 13th for your chance to shoot and win some amazing Glock prizes (not just the winners of divisions walk away with guns!).
  • No holster? No problem!  Just bring your Glock(s) in a gun bag!
  • Don’t have a Glock?  You should get one or borrow one and come enjoy this great opportunity!

Any questions about the match, please contact Robert Grayson at robert.grayson@icloud.com or 406-670-0217.

MCAS and GSSF Need YOUR Help!

Glock is making it super simple to help act as a Range Officer (RO) for this match.  Everyone is welcome to help RO – you do NOT have to have experience being an RO.  This is a great way to learn to be a Range Officer!  You can volunteer for a couple hours, one day or both days.  If you can't RO, please come help set up.  Everyone who helps set up or act as a RO goes into drawings for at least two Glocks, as well as gets a shirt and hat.  Also, depending on how many shifts you work, you can get a free GSSF membership as well as free entries into the match.  The incentives are really great!

On Friday, August 11, 2017, the GSSF staff will be in town and at the range for setup. They would like to start setting up at 8:30 so if you are available to help please stop by.

Please register to help serve as a range officer or to help set up by clicking here!  This will help us track who is coming.
